School and college governors are essential partners in monitoring and creatively developing a curriculum for the 21st century. This section contains materials describing QCA's vision of the curriculum for governors.
A curriculum for the 21st century: A governors guide can be used by governors to stimulate thinking about creating a world-class curriculum that inspires young people to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
There is also a practical toolkit entitled 30 things a governing body can do to engage with curriculum change. This briefing offers practical examples of how school governors can engage proactively with curriculum change.
