Revised subject level descriptions

QCDA has published its consultation report and recommendations on level descriptions, following the recent public consultation.
The subject level descriptions were reviewed across all levels, from level 1 to exceptional performance, to bring them in line with changes to the primary and secondary curriculum.
Read QCDA's report on the consultation, together with letters exchanged between QCDA chief executive Andrew Hall and ministers. Complete revised level descriptions can be downloaded from the links on this page. Please note that these are subject to Secretary of State approval following statutory consultation.
