Diploma aggregation service (DAS)
The Diploma aggregation service (DAS) is an online system that supports Diploma administration.
DAS enables the data sharing, results aggregation, grading and other functions required for the operation of the Diploma as a composite qualification. If you want to know more about the service, how it works and who it's for, read our DAS factsheet and Did you know? document.
Service status
DAS is operating normally today.
Please email the DAS helpdesk if you experience a problem: das.helpdesk@qcda.gov.uk.
Summer 2010 Diploma awarding
Restrictions on embargoed learner accounts – 1 August – 23 August 2010
Summer 2010 awarding is now upon us, which means that awarding period restrictions will apply and some key functions on the Diploma aggregation service (DAS) won't be available.
For example, you won't be able to set your intention to claim – this should have been done before now.
We've put these restrictions in place to make sure the results are confidential and secure. The restrictions will not apply to all learner accounts, only those that contain embargoed results. If you don’t have any learners expecting awards this summer you will have full access to your learner accounts.
In all cases you'll still be able to record the completion of personal, learning and thinking skills or work experience and view the Diploma line of learning and level that the student is enrolled on. Once the summer awarding period is over the Diploma aggregation service will return to normal.
If you have any queries or need extra help on these restrictions and how embargoed results are managed, please check the Diploma aggregation service user guide summer 2010 (chapter 4, page 37). Alternatively, contact our helpdesk on 0300 100 0100 or das.helpdesk@qcda.gov.uk.

Secure area for controlled documents
Controlled documents relating to the Diploma aggregation service are stored in a password-protected repository on this website, called dasdocs.
Only users who have signed a participation agreement can access dasdocs. To apply for an agreement, please contact the DAS Service management team on email: DAS_Service_Management_Team@qcda.gov.uk.
